Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to any written contract and to all orders placed with Interstones (hence referred to as "INTERSTONES UK Stone"). INTERSTONES UK Stone will deliver the materials, unless the parties specifically specify differently in writing prior to the contract. Please carefully review all terms and conditions before moving forward with any orders or consenting to accept any deliveries in order to safeguard your interests. By moving forward with any order or contract with INTERSTONES UK Stone, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Please write or email us if you have any questions about your rights and want clarification. Your statutory rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

When the customer or agent signs the delivery note accepting the goods, he or she is attesting that the items were in excellent order and condition when delivered. The customer admits having examined the goods that are the subject of this sale. If the customer finds that the goods are not in excellent condition upon inspection (damaged, scratched, or bowed), they should refuse delivery and email INTERSTONES UK Stone so that replacement arrangements can be made as soon as possible.

INTERSTONES UK Stone shall assume that the products have been examined and are in satisfactory condition if the delivery is accepted and signed for.
Before fabricating, INTERSTONES UK Stone highly advises showing the delivered goods to the end user for approval. Once the product has been cut and/or fabricated, the customer has accepted it as-is, and INTERSTONES UK Stone is not liable for any claims made in the future by the customer or end user about pre-existing defects, batch, colour variation, size, etc. We provide samples to clients and consumers to give them a sense of colour and style, although samples do differ from the finished product.
As we strongly advise against placing a joint between different batches, please take note that batches do range between 20mm and 30mm. prior to delivery, the customer must specify through email whether they require a batch match from a previous order; otherwise, INTERSTONES UK Stone will not be held responsible, provided the requested batch is still available. Products' nominal thicknesses can vary slightly. We try to keep this fluctuation to a maximum of 3mm.

In order to guarantee you obtain a replacement on the material, any problems with goods costing more than this amount should be communicated to us as soon as possible before fabrication. We won't take any claims from the buyer or end user after fabrication.

INTERSTONES UK Stone will accept the return of any items that are deemed unsuitable, if requested via email within 30 days of the date of delivery and provided that the goods have not been altered or damaged in any way. This is subject to the company's conditions of sale. Products returned may be subject to a restocking fee.

INTERSTONES UK Stone will continue to be the owner of all delivered goods until full payment in cleared money is received.
Orders must be placed by emailing the office and include the number, colour, thickness, and any special instructions pertaining to the delivery address and/or date, as well as any particular requirements. Interstones UK Stone has the right to decline to accept and/or deliver an order.
